Meeting with Dr. Leonid Savin, March 2016.

A meeting of our organization with Dr. Leonid Savin was organized in Belgrade in March, 2016. Dr. Savin is an eminent geopolitician and politicologist, close associate of Professor Aleksandr Dugin. He is a head of the Russian institute Katehon. On the meeting were discussed the concrete methods of future cooperation related to the projects of incorporation of Serbia in the eurasian geopolitical zone. On the occasion of his visit to Belgrade, Dr. Savin held a lecture about the hybrid warfare organized by the Institute for European Studies.

Swimming for the Holy cross, January 2016.

Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon participated in the traditional ritual of swimming for the Holy Cross of 2016.

 

 

 

This Orthodox Christian ritual is organized by the Serbian orthodox church in the coldest part of the year, on the Epiphany day, the 19th of January. For this occasion, a wooden cross is put in the river 33 meters from the river bank. People dive in the cold river and swim to touch the Holy cross. The tradition of swimming for the Holy cross exists in all towns and villages in Serbia.Our members were swimming on several spots (on the photos is shown the swimming under Kalemegdan fortress in Belgrade).

 

Help to the “Cultural Center of Republika Srpska” in Kosovska Mitrovica, April 2015.

Thanks to the important efforts of the Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon, the entire furnishing of the “Cultural Center of Republika Srpska” in Kosovska Mitrovica with all needed equipment, furniture, site design, provision of promotional material, is now successfully finalized.

 

 

Regional Commander of the Order for Kosovo and Metohija, Momcilo Arlov, on behalf of the Order, would like to use this opportunity to express the gratitude to all the members of the Order, as well as to the individuals and companies which contributed to this project with their donations, recognizing hereby the positive role of the Order in this more than important initiative launched by the Government of Republika Srpska.

 

 “Cultural Center of Republika Srpska” in Kosovska Mitrovica is the first institution of this kind established by Republika Srpska outside its borders, with the aim to empower different types of cooperation between the Serbian community in Kosovo and Metohija and their compatriots in Republika Srpska.

 

Distribution of aid to the children of Kosovo, January and February 2015.

 Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon has organized the donation of an important quantity of clothes and shoes to the families in need in Kosovo and Metohija together with the Fire department of South Wales. The action in United Kingdom was coordinated by Mr. Steve Logan, the station commander at Caerphilly and Rhymney fire stations and the leader of Blazing to Serbia project. Part of the humanitarian aid was donated by the Red Cross of Sremska Mitrovica. Distribution of humanitarian aid covered ten most remote villages within Municipality of Novo Brdo, the poorest municipality with Sebian majority at Kosovo and Metohija – villages Labljane, Gornje Kusce, Koretiste, Zebnice, Jasenovik, Straza, Titince, Pasjak, Prekovce and Bostane. Humanitarian aid is distributed to the returnees in most need, socially vulnerable children, as well as to the single parents without any incomes. Out of 25 families receiving aid, only two are with one child, whilst others have five and more children.

 

It is our sincere pleasure to point out that the major of Municipality Novo Brdo, along with the head of municipal department for return and communities, Ms. Jasmina Denic, joined the actual field distribution of the humanitarian aid.

 

 

Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon, along with its local partner “Drustvo srpsko – ruskog prijateljstva Kosovsko Ognjiste”, in cooperation with interested donors will continue with the similar activities of support to the most vulnerable children within the entire area of Kosovo and Metohija throughout 2015.
