Mr. Momcilo Arlov, Regional Commander of the Order for KiM, visited the Monastery of Holly Archangels in Prizren to obtain insight in the reconstruction of the monastery dormitory, destroyed during the march riots in 2004.

Starting from January 2014, representatives of the Regional Command of the Order for KiM, shall intensify visits to the Serbian monasteries south from Ibar aiming to establish as closer cooperation and assistance with the brotherhoods and sisterhoods of the same ones as possible.

Birthday of little girl Milica Djordjevic, the only Serbian pupil in Prizren city, january 2014

Mr. Momcilo Arlov, Regional Commander for KiM, used the visit to Prizren to hand-over the gifts to Milica, the only Serbian pupil in Prizren city, who from Tuesday reads the lectures for the first grade under the light of candle, and does her homework within the improvised school located within the Church of “Saint George”. Due to the debt of 150 Euro, Electro distribution of Kosovo cut of the electricity in the apartment where Milica lives with her mother Evica during the last seven years. Mother Evica doesn’t receive even the social assistance for the State of Serbia in the last seven years.

 

Milica follows every lent and has extraordinary spiritual strength, but also has a wish to start learning martial arts. Having learned before the visit that Milica, among other sports, favors fencing, Mr. Arlov used the opportunity to provide Milica with the book on fencing “Fencing System Damnjanovic”, making a promise to Milica to continue with future friendship between her and “Club of Serbian Military Fencing KNIGHTS” from Kosovska Mitrovica.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Humanitarian Aid to the socially most-vulnerable individuals in Municipality Prizren, january 2014.

Representatives of the “Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon” during 04.01.2014 implemented distribution of humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable social cases within the Municipality of Prizren. The visit and distribution has been undertaken in partnership with the Association of serbian-russian Friendship „Kosovsko Ognjiste”. Humanitarian assistance in this area was composed out of winter clothing, medical supplies and food. Assistance in winter clothing was provided to Javorka Nedeljkovic, the only remaining member of Serbian community in village Smac, Municipality Prizren.

 

 

 

 

Within the Prizren town itself, the assistance in medical supplies was provided to seven families and individuals out of whom the majority is accommodated within the collective center, awaiting for the reconstruction of their houses destroyed during 1999 and 2004.

 

 

 

 
Assistance in medical supplies and food was provided also to Dragan Babarogic who didn’t left his house in Prizren as of 1999, not even when the same one was destroyed during the march riots during 2004.

 

 

Humanitarian Aid to the socially most-vulnerable families in Municipality Strpce, january 2014.

Representatives of the “Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon” during 04.01.2014 implemented distribution of humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable social cases within the Municipality of Strpce. The visit and distribution has been undertaken in partnership with the Association of serbian-russian Friendship „Kosovsko Ognjiste”. During the visits to Strpce and Prizren, for the first time the terrain vehicle secured by the Regional Command was used in the field as the official vehicle of the “Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon”. Assistance was distributed to nine families in Strpce and three villages in Strpce Municipality (Popovce, Jazince, Stevce).

Humanitarian Aid to the socially most-vulnerable families in Municipality Zubin Potok, january 2014.

Representatives of the “Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon” during December 2013 implemented a number of activities related to the distribution of humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable social cases within the Municipality of Zubin Potok (northern Kosovo). Undertaken in partnership with the Association of serbian-russian Friendship „Kosovsko Ognjiste”, humanitarian assistance (winter wardrobe and food) has been distributed to the single-mothers in Zubin Potok itself, whereby some of them have up to eleven children; as well as to single-mothers living with their children in inaccessible mountain areas where the distribution took place on foot due to the fact that not even terrain vehicles were able to reach these places.
