Representatives of the “Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon” during December 2013 implemented a number of activities related to the distribution of humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable social cases within the Municipality of Zubin Potok (northern Kosovo). Undertaken in partnership with the Association of serbian-russian Friendship „Kosovsko Ognjiste”, humanitarian assistance (winter wardrobe and food) has been distributed to the single-mothers in Zubin Potok itself, whereby some of them have up to eleven children; as well as to single-mothers living with their children in inaccessible mountain areas where the distribution took place on foot due to the fact that not even terrain vehicles were able to reach these places.

Aid to the newly-established women monastery of “St. Ilija” in a village Jabuka, Municipality Prijepolje, january 2014.
The Serbian Orthodox Church decided during this year celebrations of “St. Ilija” festivities that a women’s monastery is to be established and built around the existing church of “St. Ilija” in village Jabuka, Municipality Prijepolje. This task has been given to the Mother Ana who spent the last 14 years as the head of Monastery Mileseva. The construction of the monastery buildings had to be stopped due to the beginning of the winter, and for this reason the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia donated to a sisterhood a metal container in which they will spend a winter – however, the container came without basic equipment for i.e. heating and cooking. Due to this and in agreement with Mother Ana, representatives of the “Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon” collected financial means to procure a new wood-stove usable for heating and cooking. During the same visit, additional donation of food items and basic kitchen equipment has been provided to the sisterhood.
Establishment of the “Club of the Serbian Military Fencing KNIGHTS”, january 2014.
In accordance with the basic goal and aims of the Order on the collective plan, whereby the whole society is to be provided with the methodologies to establish a harmonious and organic nation based on the notion of the unity, focusing hereby especially on the youth, during the visit of Mr. Damnjanovic to Kosovska Mitrovica, the newly established “Club of the Serbian Military Fencing Knights”, based in Kosovska Mitrovica, had its first public presentation. During this official presentation of the Club, accompanied by the representatives of the local medias, an introductory exercise showing the basics of the “Serbian military fencing according to reformed system Damnjanovic” took place in the Club premises. Introductory exercise has been presented by Mr. Dejan Damnjanovic and Mr. Vuk Damnjanovic.

Regional Command of the “Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon” for Kosovo and Metohija had the honor and pleasure to host the Commander of the Order, Mr. Dejan Damnjanovic. During his visit to Kosovska Mitrovica, Mr. Damnjanovic had the opportunity to familiarize more in-depth with the overall political and security situation, as well with the issues that citizens are confronted with on a daily basis. In addition, Mr. Damnjanovic handed-over a number of Appreciation Certificates on the behalf of the “Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon” to the prominent individuals, representatives of the institutions and local medias that supported with their positive partnership attitude the implementation of activities initiated by the “Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon”. During a number of individual interviews to the local medias (“TV Most”, “Radio Kontakt Plus”, “Radio Kosovska Mitrovica”), Mr. Damnjanovic introduced the wider local audience with the existence, principles and work of the “Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon”.
Aid to the Red Cross of Knjazevac
Sovereign Military Order of the Dragon, in cooperation with Parish of Saint George the martyr from Denmark and National Command of the Order for Denmark, donated humanitarian aid to the Red Cross of Knjazevac. The action was organized with the help of Mr. Slobodan Radojicic, district commander of the Order for Eastern Serbia. This shipment of humanitarian aid consisting primarily of clothing that was distributed to strugling families from Knjazevac municipality.
